After your morning evacuation yes. Because this is generally after you your longest fast, and not to mention the amount of water you lose exhaling during sleep. Your lightest because of the condition of your body after a fast. But after you replenish your body you'd find that you are heavier during this period? Make sense?

Hmm. Based on my experience, I'm lightest in the morning, and that's when I tend to weigh myself consistently. I don't have scientific evidence to support why, but I always assumed it was because I weighed myself after emptying my bladder and all of the food from the evening before had time to digest and be absorbed by the body -- not sitting in my stomach, etc. Interesting.

Another tip Jen. Weight yourself at the exact same time daily, (1-2 hours doesn't matter. Fact: Gravity is strongest in the morning making you appear to weight more.

Good Luck!
