This morning was a happy weigh-in! I reached the 258 mark, so I’m a tenth of the way there. While it feels great, I know the easiest part is behind me. Each successive ten pounds is going to be harder and harder.
A couple hours after my light breakfast this morning, I started feeling the hunger pangs. Having a while to go until lunch, I thought I had better have a snack. So, I chomped on eight baby carrots.
I just got back from the library with Scott and Maria. I usually don’t check out books myself, but I thought I’d look for a cookbook that has recipes for weight loss. I found this one and checked it out:

I don’t know anything about Dr. Shapiro or what he subscribes for weight loss methods, but I’ll thumb through it and see if I can find anything that looks yummy.
I also bought all of the ingredients for cabbage soup, so I might whip up a batch of it today.
